Architecting Intelligent Design Ecosystems and Human Machine Interaction
What happens when an industrial robot arm stops working like a factory hand and starts moving like a contemporary dancer? AATB (Andrea Anner and Thibault Brevet) open their week at the Hong Kong Design Institute with a master lecture on non-industrial robotics: taking robot arms off the production line and into theatres and galleries, where engineering meets choreography.
The lecture looks at how working with machines can move from rigid programming to creative expression, for students of interaction design, code, AI, media art and product design. In English, followed by a Q&A, at HKDI lecture hall A004.
